Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung stated to remain monitor the flood waters from upstream that hit several areas in Jakarta.

Since last night, Pramono has cooperated with related agency to ensure the flood handling runs optimally especially in Ramadan month.

"Stakeholder and related agency has prepared the handling well. It includes the social, natural resources and others related with this," Pramono said, Monday (3/3).

Pramono continued the flood has decreased significantly thanks to the construction of the Ciawi and Sukamahi Reservoirs. Based on the report, current flood has also begun to recede.

Previously, Jakarta Provincial Government through Regional Disaster Handling Agency (BPBD) is assisting the flood survivors in East Jakarta. Acting Jakarta BPBD Implementer Head, Isnawa Adji, said ready-to-eat food packages were distributed to assist survivors getting their sahur meal.
